Driveways
To better serve Town residents and provide inspection services and oversight of the driveway repair/construction process, all driveway work in Southington's Right of Way requires an excavation permit per the Town of Southington Driveway Ordinance. Permits are $15 each and the excavation permit application must be accompanied by a rough sketch of the work to be done. Please see our driveway specifications for detailed specs.
Driveway resurfacing, repair, or construction with the Town's Right of Way must be completed by a contractor licensed within the Town of Southington. Please see our list of Licensed Contractors. Any driveway contractors who are not currently licensed with the Town should see detailed information regarding requirements and license application for contractors.
