Contract work for the Plantsville Safety & Streetscape Project begins on March 18, 2024 and will run until September 2024. Paramount Construction will commence on West Main Street, Westbound Lane from the Firehouse to the Hyde Away Cafe. Other stages of work including South Main Street by the Post Office (starting approximately April 15^th), Main Street from Grove Street to West Main (starting approximately April 22nd through mid-May), and the remaining areas of West Main Street (starting May 15^th through mid-August). This schedule is subject to change. Southington Police will be directing traffic as needed. Businesses will be open during the full duration of the project.
